Lisa provides hands-on care that facilitates the body's ability to recognize its potential to change. She has experience working with individuals with chronic pain, injury and anxiety. Many of these conditions lead to confusion in the brain's processing areas, leading to an overactive nervous system response.
Zero Balancing assist the body and brain in returning to a less chaotic and more functional state. Held tension patterns are recognized and released resulting in more comfort and improved alignment of structure and energy. Lisa incorporates information from bodywork sessions and client input to provide a comprehensive body mind program to help clients achieve short and long term health goals. Awareness and education provide insight and a road map for healthy transformation.
In our fast paced society we have become more "out of touch" with ourselves. Hands-on therapies allow us to increase our awareness of physical sensations, feelings, body alignment and tension patterns. Lisa's goal is to help each and every client nurture awareness and connections between body, mind and life.
As a woman, body mind practitioner, wife, mom and grandmother, Lisa has learned the importance of finding comfort, calm, connection, balance and joy in her own body, mind and life. She understands the challenges parents face and she is passionate about supporting families that are facing challenges related to physical, emotional and mental health.
Lisa's reflection on Mind/Body Wellness
Only by turning inward can I find joy and peace within
From this place I can navigate my world and be present with those I hold most dear
I can reflect and live a life that is true to who I am
I can find balance between receiving and giving
I can continue to grow and bloom in our ever changing world.
